Hi there!

Professional Broadcaster, Journalist & Consultant

Hi, my name is Yolo (yep- like "You Only Live Once") and I am the Founder of Yolo Vox. I have a B.A in broadcasting and a minor in youth development from Goshen College, a small but award-winning school. In my broadcasting career, I've worked in the fast-paced life as a journalist for Fox 28 News and as the News Director for WFRN Radio in Elkhart. Although I love working in the newsroom, I also love helping businesses and underserved communities thrive. This second passion took me to relocate in the beautiful country of Costa Rica where I worked as a multimedia producer and translator for 119 Ministries. In 2015, I moved back to my hometown in Mexico to assist in the launch of Repacci Publicaciones, an online academic and educational database. As if that traveling wasn't enough, one year later I freelanced in Panama as a bilingual marketing coordinator and translator for a US-based nonprofit. That was by far one of the most challenging jobs yet extremely rewarding because I realized I did it all-- from website development to marketing in English and Spanish and managing donations.

Most recently I worked as a Development Director for a non-profit medical center from 2016 to 2020 where I successfully formulated and implemented all aspects of fundraising such as annual giving, events, grants and year-end campaigns. I tripled the fundraising income and created a unique statewide business expo for Latino-owned businesses, raising over $25k in its second year.

Today, I am committed to assisting my clients locally, nationally and internationally with high quality voiceovers and translation services to give their customers the best experience. Contact me to find out how I can generate the results you're looking for.
